A new story trailer for the remake of Silent Hill 2 is out. In the trailer, we see a mix of gameplay, with a focus on Maria. We also see some more of Angela, and we Eddie for the first time, and he’s definitely creepy.

In the game, “Investigating a letter from his late wife, James returns to where they made so many memories – Silent Hill. What he finds is a ghost town, prowled by disturbing monsters and cloaked in deep fog. Confront the monsters, solve puzzles, and search for traces of your wife in this remake of SILENT HILL 2.”

Silent Hill 2 is being developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami. It is a remake of the 2001 game of the same name, originally developed by Team Silent, a group within Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo.

The game will release October 8.
