The new trailer for Netflix’s animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft introduces Hayley Atwell’s take on Lara Croft. Check it out below.

Per the show’s official description: “Following the events of the ‘Survivor ‘series, Lara Croft has abandoned her friends to embark on increasingly more perilous solo adventures. But she must return home when a dangerous and powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with an uncanny personal connection. Her daring pursuit will take her on an adventure around the world and to the depths of forgotten tombs, where she will be forced to confront her true self, and decide just what kind of hero she wants to become.”

Along with Atwell, the cast includes Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon reprising his role as Jonah from the “Tomb Raider” video game franchise.

Tasha Huo (“The Witcher: Blood Origin,” “Red Sonja”) is writer and showrunner and executive produces alongside Dmitri M. Johnson, Timothy I. Stevenson; Jacob Robinson, Dallas Dickinson, Noah Hughes, Howard Bliss, Jen Chambers and Brad Graeber.

The series hails from Legendary Television, Crystal Dynamics, Powerhouse Animation, dj2 Entertainment and Tractor Pants.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will premiere Netflix on October 10.
