Ryan Reynolds has shared today that Gambit might be coming back soon. Of course, if you have watched one of the biggest movies of the year with Deadpool & Wolverine then you’re aware of Gambit being in the movie. Channing Tatum played the classic X-Men character which has been a long time coming for some time now. It was teased years ago that Tatum would play the mutant in movies but never came to fruition. Of course, that is until Deadpool 3 came around this summer and brought the character to life. What wasn’t know though by the end is if the actor would ever reprise the role. That is until now with this new clip that Reynolds has shared.

The clip teases that Gambit could be returning for upcoming MCU films now that Deadpool has bridged that gap. We don’t have confirmation from Marvel and Disney if there is in fact a Gambit series or movie in the future. Channing Tatum has been vocal with a sit down with Variety about returning to play the character.

“From your mouth to God’s ears. Write it into existence, my friend. Please.”

Of course we would be open to this return as someone who enjoyed seeing this almost two decades casting finally happening. Would you be open to seeing Tatum returning to the role as Gambit?
