Munro Film‘s coming-of-age sports drama, Hard Miles, is available today, September 2, for Digital Download. The film stars Matthew Modine (Oppenheimer, Stranger Things), Sean Astin (Stranger Things), Cynthia Kaye McWilliams and Leslie David Baker (The Office).

Modine plays Greg Townsend, a coach who rounds up an unlikely crew of incarcerated students at a medium security correctional school in Colorado to work together on a gruelling bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon.

The young cast is played by Jahking Guillory (On My Block), Jackson Kelly (Lessons In Chemistry, Chucky), Damien Diaz (Shameless), and Zachary T. Robbins.  Produced by Pensé Productions and co-written by the film’s director R.J. Daniel Hanna with Christian Sander. The film’s many award wins include Denver International Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award, Heartland International Film Festival’s Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award and Naples International Film Festival’s Audience Choice Award.
