A24 dropped the second trailer for Heretic, as promised yesterday. In the new trailer, we see more of the mysterious home that Hugh Grant lives in, as well as more religious imagery and text. The film’s release date has also changed to November 8, when it was previously set to release November 15, 2024.

In the film, “Two missionaries become ensnared in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after they knock on the wrong door.”

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (co-writers of A Quiet Place, wrote and directed Nightlight, Haunt, and 65) are writing and directing. Hugh Grant (D&D: Honor Among Thieves), Chloe East (The Fabelmans) and Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) star in the upcoming film.
