The film adaptation of Barbara Withers’ acclaimed play, Dindin will be available On Demand October 8. Check out the film’s trailer below.

When four acquaintances gather for a civilized dinner party, sharp words, flying plates, and the predator instinct lead to hard feelings, blood on the floor, and maybe worse. A murder mystery where the mystery becomes what has died.

Pierre and Emily are bourgeois, charming, and a little bored. They live in a remote coastal town full of struggling artists, artists like Darlene and Ricky, who’d make a wonderful couple if only they’d stop being so feisty with one another. Darlene is a starving installation artist, Ricky is a carpenter who may have deranged political sympathies, and the volatile compound of these four humans may prove too combustible for a civilized dinner party. Soon sharp words, flying plates, illicit desires, and blood on the floor will reveal the barely contained wild animals within these hapless specimens, and may lead one to a final deadly outcome.

Dindin is directed by Brendan Patrick Hughes and written by Barbara Withers. It stars Stacy Fischer, Robert Kropf, Brenda Withers, and Jonathan Fielding. The film’s producers are Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Brendan Patrick Hughes, Robert Kropf and Brenda Withers.
