“Euphoria” Season 3 is still on the way despite several rumors saying otherwise according to HBOI/Max boss Casey Bloys. HBO had previously announced that Season 3 would at long last go into production in January 2025, almost exactly three years after the premiere of Season 2, and according to Bloys, that is still the case.
“We are shooting ‘Euphoria,’” he told reporters on Tuesday at an HBO/Max press event.” I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors. Is the show.”

The main cast of “Euphoria” includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane. Angus Cloud, who broke out in his role as Fezco, died at age 25 in July 2023. Some cast members have already indicated they would not be returning to the show for another season, such as Barbie Ferreira. Of course in the course of the gap between season 2 and 3 we have seen the cast go on to bigger projects. It was always going to be a show we know the cast would outgrow with their found fame. Casey continued to talk about what comes ahead to the reporters.
“I know the show gets a lot of attention now because, you know, it has created some genuine movie stars, and they have various projects that are working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed,” Bloys added. “It’s eight episodes.”
