A24 dropped a new trailer for Kyle Mooney’s disaster comedy, Y2K. In the new trailer, which is set up as a sort of montage remix featuring clips of Bill Clinton, along with familiar internet looks and sounds, we see things ultimately end up getting crazy. Check it out below.

“The film is set on New Year’s Eve 1999, two high school nobodies (Martell, Dennison) decide to crash the last big party before the new millennium. When the clock strikes midnight, the night gets more insane than they ever could have imagined.”

Written and directed by Kyle Mooney and starring Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, and Alicia Silverstone.

The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 9, 2024, and is scheduled to be released by A24 in the United States on December 6, 2024.
