Josh O’Connor is set to co-star opposite Emily Blunt in the untitled film from Steven Spielberg, Amblin and Universal. O’Connor is the latest to join the cast that includes Colin Firth, Coleman Domingo and Eve Hewson.

David Koepp serves as the film’s screenwriter. Spielberg and Koepp worked together on Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. 

Kristie Macosko Krieger is producing. Plot details have been kept under wraps.

The “original event film” will release in theaters on May 15, 2026.
