Chris Evans is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers: Doomsday, which will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

Evans’ role, however, hasn’t been confirmed. Most recently, he had a cameo in the MCU’s Deadpool & Wolverine, as Johnny Storm from the Fantastic Four movies. As Steve Rogers/Captain America, he was last seen in the Russos’ Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on May 1, 2026. The Russos have Avengers: Secret Wars happening in May 2027.
