Jurassic World Rebirth is coming next summer, and ahead of its release we have some newly released images. In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, director Gareth Edwards detailed how the film will bring Jurassic back to its roots. The four new images introduce the film’s trio of main characters.

The website explains how, “Edwards likens the trio’s dynamic to Brody, Hooper, and Quint from Jaws, played in that 1975 Spielberg classic by Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw — disparate individuals hunting a prehistoric creature.”

Here’s the official plot synopsis: “The planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.”

Academy Award^® nominee Scarlett Johansson stars. Original Jurassic Park writer David Koepp is back to write the screenplay.

Universal will release Jurassic World Rebirth in theaters on July 2, 2025.
