The new year is almost here, and with that comes plenty of new horror releases. Here’s a list of some of those highly anticipated horror films coming out in 2025.
Wolf Man – Christopher Abbott stars as Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. With his marriage to his high-powered wife, Charlotte, fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger. But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without. Companion – A billionaire’s death sets off a chain of events for Iris and her friends during a weekend trip to his lakeside estate. In theaters January 10, 2025.
Screamboat – A mischievous mouse stalks a group of New Yorkers on a late night ferry ride, unleashing murderous mayhem on a relaxing commute. Can the ship’s motley crew of travelers find a way to stop a killer creature who has developed a taste for tourists? In theaters January 24, 2025.
Presence – In Presence, a family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they are not alone. A supernatural force has infiltrated the house and taken a specific interest in the couple’s daughter. In theaters January 24, 2025.
Heart Eyes – For the past several years, the Heart Eyes Killer has wreaked havoc on Valentine’s Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples. This Valentine’s Day, no couple is safe. In theaters February 7, 2025.
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare – Wendy Darling as she strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from “the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.” Along the way she meets Tinkerbell, who in this twisted version of the story will be seen taking heroine, convinced that it’s pixie dust. In theaters February 24, 2025.
The Monkey –When twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths starts occurring all around them. The brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years. But when the mysterious deaths begin again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to destroy the monkey for good before it takes the lives of everyone close to them. In theaters February 21, 2025.
Sinners – Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. In theaters March 7, 2025.
Drop – Violet is a widowed mother who goes to an upscale restaurant to meet Henry, her charming and handsome date. However, her pleasant evening soon turns into a living nightmare when she receives phone messages from a mysterious, hooded figure who threatens to kill her young son and sister unless she kills Henry. In theaters April 11, 2025.
Until Dawn – A group spends the weekend in a ski lodge on the anniversary of their friends’ disappearance, unaware that they are not alone. In theaters April 25, 2025.

28 Years Later – A group of survivors of the rage virus lives on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors. In theaters June 20, 2025.

The Conjuring: Last Rites – Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren take on one last terrifying case involving mysterious entities they must confront. In theaters September 5, 2025.

The Bride! – In 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride, sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change. In theaters September 26, 2025.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 – Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances. In theaters December 5, 2025.

Bambi: The Reckoning – After a mother and son get in a car wreck, they soon become hunted by Bambi, a mutated deer. The grief-stricken creature embarks on a rampage seeking revenge for the death of his mother.
Death of a Unicorn – When a man and his daughter accidentally hit and kill a unicorn with their car, his boss tries to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties — with horrific results.
Fear Street: Prom Queen – A Fear Street film based on R.L. Stine’s book, ‘The Prom Queen’.
Frankenstein – Dr. Pretorius tracks down Frankenstein’s monster, who is believed to have died in a fire forty years before, in order to continue the experiments of Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
Hell House LLC: Lineage – Plot details are currently under wraps.
Pinocchio: Unstrung – A dark reimagining of Pinocchio, this unsettling tale explores the eerie nature of the iconic puppet, blurring lines between reality and fantasy.
Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble – Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, the Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell join forces to wreak bloody havoc.
