Director Louis Leterrier‘s (The Transporter, Fast X, “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”) next film, 11817 will star Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Wagner Moura (Civil War). Deadline reports that Netflix has picked up the project.

Deadline details, “The film follows a family of four who are suddenly sealed inside their home with no way out, and they must work to survive against both their dwindling resources and the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped.”

Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying) wrote the screenplay.

“Directing projects where the audience gets behind the characters has always been my focus. However complex, flawed, heroic, we identify with them as we live through their journey,” Leterrier recently said. “It’s what excites me about 11817‘s wholly original concept and the family at the heart of our story. This is an experience that movie audiences won’t forget.”

Louis Leterrier’s Carrousel Studios is producing the film alongside Rocket Science, Thank You Studios, Chernin Entertainment (A North Road Company) and 3 Arts Entertainment.
