A24 has released the trailer for its latest horror “Opus,” which follows a young writer played by “The Bear” Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri who is invited to the remote compound of a reclusive pop star (John Malkovich). Surrounded by his cult of diehard fans, the writer finds her herself increasingly panicked as a twisted plan unfolds around her.

Edebiri and Malkovich star inn “Opus” alongside Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder and Tony Hale. The cast also includes Tatanka Means, Young Mazino, Tamera Tomakili and Stephanie Suganami. The movie is set to world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

Mark Anthony Green wrote and directed the film, which is his feature directorial debut. This is by far one of the most buzziest titles coming out at the Sundance Film Festival this week. Stay tuned for reaction and more information on the film this coming week. Are you excited for Opus?

“Opus” hits the big screen March 14.
