Uma Thurman (Hysterical Blindness, Pulp Fiction) has joined the cast of Paramount+ with Showtime original series Dexter: Resurrection, Deadline reports.
“Thurman will play Charley, the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.”
Thurman joins Michael C. Hall and fellow series regulars David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott who are reprising their Dexter franchise roles as Detective Angel Batista, Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, respectively.
Dexter: Resurrection, from Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios, is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, who serves as showrunner, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns, with Marcos Siega serving as producing director. Monica Raymund is set to direct four episodes, with Siega directing six. The series, set to premiere this summer, is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
The present-day follow-up to Dexter: New Blood is currently in production in New York.
