Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, Avengers: Infinity War) has officially joined the series regular cast of the Showtime Original Series Dexter: Resurrection

Dinklage will portray Leon Prater’ a billionaire venture capitalist. To the world, Leon is a generous philanthropist, but behind his polished exterior lies dark intrigue. Deadline understands Dinklage is playing the big baddy of the season.

Leon will work closely alongside Charley (Uma Thurman), his head of security. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as Prater’s resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman.

Dinklage joins Michael C. Hall and fellow series regulars David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott who are reprising their Dexter franchise roles as Detective Angel Batista, Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, respectively.

Dexter: Resurrection, from Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios, is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, who serves as showrunner, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns, with Marcos Siega serving as producing director. Monica Raymund is set to direct four episodes, with Siega directing six. The series, set to premiere this summer, is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The present-day follow-up to Dexter: New Blood is currently in production in New York.
