A comedy movie inspired the band Green Day is being produced by Live Nation Productions, Variety reports.

The coming-of-age film titled, New Years Rev, is written and directed by Lee Kirk.

It follows three friends played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust that think they’re opening for Green Day.

“Their roadtrip is a rowdy and mischievous jaunt across the country filled with adventures, based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.”

New Years Rev also stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, alongside Ignacio Diaz-Silverio and Keen Ruffalo.
