Amin Joseph (Snowfall) has been cast as Sonny Liston in The Greatest, Prime Video’s limited series about the life of Muhammad Ali.

Joseph leads opposite of Jaalen Best. Also previously cast are Omari Hardwick as Ali’s father, Cassius “Cash” Clay Sr., and Dana Gourrier as his mother, Odessa “Bird” Clay.

The series “Chronicles Ali’s life, career highs/lows, triumphs/struggles in/out of ring. Explores his personal relationships as father, husband, brother, son, behind public persona. Depicts defining moments that shaped boxing legend’s iconic status.”

Best plays Ali and Joseph will play his rival, heavyweight champion Sonny Liston.
