Amazon MGM Studios and Imagine Entertainment’s Luca Guadagnino thriller After the Hunt will receive a limited theatrical release October 10, with a nationwide release October 17.

The film is an intense dramatic thriller about a college professor (Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil (Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Garfield), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.

The film is written by Nora Garrett. Alongside Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny also star along with Lío Mehiel, Thaddea Graham, Will Price, Christine Dye, and Burgess Byrd.

Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum are producing alongside Guadagnino via his Frenesy banner, with Imagine Entertainment’s Karen Lunder exec producing alongside Garrett.
