The creepypasta The Third Parent from Elias Witherow is being adapted into a feature film, which has been acquired by Walters Media Group, per Deadline.

Set to write and direct the feature adaptation, in his feature debut, is producer David Michaels.

Witherow’s The Third Parent appears on the NoSleep Reddit forum and is comprised of a series of short stories and novellas. In the film, “a disturbing figure named Tommy Taffy emerges. Disguised as a human, he infiltrates a suburban neighborhood and imposes authoritarian rule over an unsuspecting family.”
