Amanda Seyfried stars in Long Bright River, based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Liz Moore.

Seyfried stars as Mickey, a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.

Moore adapted her book for the screen alongside showrunner Nikki Toscano (The Offer, Hunters), with both also serving as executive producers.

Nicholas Pinnock, Ashleigh Cummings, Callum Vinson, and John Doman also star. Recurring cast includes Dash Mihok, Britne Oldford, Matthew Del Negro, Harriet Sansom Harris, Patch Darragh, and Perry Mattfeld.

Hagar Ben-Asher (City on a Hill, Bosch) directed the first of eight episodes in the crime thriller series.

The Peacock Original limited series premieres March 13.
