Leading UK games publisher Kwalee and Swedish indie developer Powersnake have announced the launch of a New Game+ mode for the 2D Metroidvania Voidwrought on PC. Players can now delve deeper into its hand-drawn world of cosmic horrors with three distinct New Game+ paths to explore.

The following New Game+ paths have been added – 

The Reborn 

For players who like a major combat challenge, the Reborn path might be the choice for them. On this path, enemy damage and enemy health have been increased. 

The Harbinger

On this path, enemy damage is increased and regular attack damage is greatly reduced, but players will have access to unlimited Void Charges to take full advantage of their Relic abilities at any time!

The Undone

On this path, death itself becomes a weapon. Players will permanently lose 1 health bar per death and they cannot regain health outside of dying, but the regular attack damage is increased every time they die. Additionally, enemy damage is increased. 

Players now have the option to select Hardcore Mode right from the beginning, without the need to complete the game first. Hardcore mode brings permadeath to Voidwrought, adding new tension to every encounter.
