The new demo for Tempest Rising, the highly anticipated, modern real-time strategy game from Saber Interactive’s 3D Realms publishing label and Knights Peak, in partnership with developer Slipgate Ironworks, is now available as part of Steam Next Fest.

Storm the battlefield and experience this true spiritual successor to the RTS classics of the ‘90s and 2000s before the game officially releases on Steam on April 24!

Live until March 10, Tempest Rising’s Steam Next Fest demo features the first two missions from each of the game’s two single-player campaigns. In a battle-scarred, alternate-history 1997 where the Cuban Missile Crisis went nuclear, you’ll experience fast, fluid and hard-hitting RTS warfare as both the Global Defense Forces (GDF) and Tempest Dynasty (DYN) factions, each with their own unique units and strategies. Players can also face off against the AI in the demo’s PvE skirmish mode, which features three maps.
