Blue Finch Films has acquired worldwide sales rights to the supernatural horror feature, The Surrender.

The film marks the directorial debut of Julia Max and is set to make its world premiere at SXSW as part of the Midnighter section.

In the film, “When the family patriarch dies, a grieving mother and daughter risk their lives to perform a brutal resurrection ritual that will bring him back from the dead.”

Colby Minifie (“The Boys”), Emmy nominee Kate Burton (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Neil Sandilands (“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”) star.

Rounding out the cast are Vaughn Armstrong, Mia Ellis, Pete Ploszek, Chelsea Alden, Alaina Pollack, Riley Rose Critchlow, and Lola Prince Kelly.
