David Arquette (Scream) is set to return alongside Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard for Scream 7 from Spyglass and Paramount Pictures, per Deadline.
Arquette starred as Deputy Dewey Riley, who was killed in the fifth film, so it will be interesting to see how he will be brought back for the upcoming film.
Arquette will also join the previously announced legacy cast members Campbell, Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, alongside newcomers Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mark Consuelos and Ethan Embry.
Original Scream writer Kevin Williamson is directing Scream 7 with Guy Busick (2022’s Scream and Scream VI) writing.
Project X Entertainment’s James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, and Paul Neinstein (2022’s Screamand Scream VI) are producing.
