The cast for Yeon Sang-ho‘s (Train to Busan) next zombie film, Gunche has unveiled its cast.

The zombie thriller will star Jun Ji-hyun (My Love from the Star), Go Soo (Missing), Ji Chang-wook (The Worst of Evil) and Koo Kyo-hwan (D.P.).

In the Korean language, “gunche” means colony in a biological context.

Distributer Showbox described the upcoming film as “the culmination of Yeon Sang-ho’s universe, spanning from Train to Busan to Peninsula.”

The film is slated for release in 2026.
