Emmy winner Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) is the latest to joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection.
Deadline reports that he’ll have a guest role in four episodes. He plays a Midwestern man named Al, who’s believed to be a serial killer.
Michael C. Hall will reprise his role as serial killer Dexter Morgan alongside David Zayas as Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, and James Remar as Harry Morgan.
Peter Dinklage will play the season’s main villain, Leon Prater, a billionaire venture capitalist, with Uma Thurman as Charley, a former Special Ops officer who serves as his right-hand woman.
Krysten Ritter and Neil Patrick Harris will guest star. Other newcomers to the franchise include Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusaand, and Emilia Suárez.
Original Dexter showrunner Clyde Phillips returns while fellow Dexter alumnus Marcos Siega serves as producing director. He’ll helm four episodes, with Monica Raymund (Dexter: Original Sin) directing the other four.
