A24 dropped the trailer for Materialists. In the trailer, we see a matchmaker (Dakota Johnson) fall for a rich man (Pedro Pascal), but things get complicated when an ex comes back into her life (Chris Evans). Check it out below.

The film stars Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal and “follows a young, ambitious New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.”

Song directed, wrote and produced the movie. David Hinojosa of 2AM produces alongside Killer Films.

Song’s 2023 romance, Past Lives, world premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. You can check out our breakdown to the film here.
