Jack Reynor (Midsommar, Transformers: Age of Extinction) will star in The Mummy from director Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise), per Deadline.

Plot details are being kept under wraps.

The project is the first under the recent Blumhouse-Atomic Monster merger, with the companies producing and co-financing for New Line Cinema. James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville are producing alongside Cronin under his Doppelgängers banner.

David Garbett (Evil Dead Rise, “Ash vs Evil Dead”) is serving as director of photography.

Warner Bros. will release the film April 17, 2026.
