At this year’s AnimeJapan, Netflix showcased its popular anime offerings and teased what’s to come in 2025.
A new trailer and key art were revealed for Moonrise. The event also announced additional voice talent, including AiNA THE END as Mary, Misaki Yamada as Rhys Rochelle, Katsunori Okai as Georg Landry, Yu Kobayashi as Eric Baker, Kosuke Takaguchi as Osma, Arisa Kori as Inanna Zinger, Yuka Terasaki as Zowan, Satoshi Yamaguchi as Duan, Masaki Aizawa as Bob Skylum, Takehito Koyasu as Wise Crowne, Mie Sonozaki as Doctor Salamandra, Arisa Sekine as Windy Sylph, and Shin Aomori as Novice Harbinger.
Part 2 of the final season for Beastars is on the way, with new images revealed from Part 1.
Beastars, “is a youth drama set in a world where carnivores and herbivores coexist, in which a troubled young gray wolf, Legoshi (CV: Kobayashi Chikahiro), grows up while struggling with the differences between the species. Legoshi, a high school student, was troubled as he was not sure whether his feelings for his first love, the dwarf rabbit Haru (CV: Senbongi Sayaka), were love or appetite, but after going through various experiences, he has accepted himself as a carnivore and now wants to “become stronger” in order to protect Haru and the herbivores. In the final season, Legoshi leaves school for a certain reason and goes out into society to start a new life. Meanwhile, as the truth behind the rapidly increasing “cannibalism incidents” is revealed, the figure of Melon (CV: Okino Koji), a mysterious beast operating in the underworld, begins to emerge, and the threat of this beast approaches Legoshi… What will be the outcome of the deadly battle between Melon and Legoshi, whose conflict is gradually becoming more intense? And what will become of Legoshi’s love with Haru?”
Devil May Cry will premiere April 3. The brand-new animated series is based on Capcom’s action game. The Japanese voice cast was announced including Toshiyuki Morikawa voicing Dante, Fumiko Orikasa as Lady, and Hiroaki Hirata as Vergil.
Images of My Melody & Kuromi were also shared. The stop-motion animation series stars Sannrio Co., Ltd.’s globally popular characters My Melody and Kuromi.
