Scott Derrickson and his frequent partner C. Robert Cargill are reteaming on another horror. THR reports that Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems has enlisted the pair to adapt horror novel Road of Bones from Christopher Golden.

Golden’s novel, which is described as a mix of folk and survival horror, is set in Siberia and follows an American documentarian, Felix “Teig” Teigland, who drives Siberia’s dangerous Kolyma Highway and ends up fighting for his life in one of the most remote places of the world.

Golden, Vince Cheng and Pete Donaldson will serve as executive producers on the project.
