During Disney’s CinemaCon presentation, new footage for Fantastic Four: First Steps was unveiled.

Reed Richards and Sue Storm learn that they are expecting a baby, leading to a conflicted reaction. “We can do this,” Kirby says assuringly.

As the team battles threats from Galactus, Kirby remains resolute. “We will face this together,” she says in the trailer. “We will fight it together — as a family.”

In the film, Reed Richards notes in a press conference to a worried populace, “We will protect you.” The footage saves a big surprise for last, as the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) goes zooming along.

Matt Shakman directs the upcoming Marvel film, which stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch. The cast also includes Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Paul Walter-Hauser, John Malkovich, Ralph Ineson, and Natasha Lyonne.
