Tyriq Withers (Him, I Know What You Did Last Summer) is set to co-star opposite Maika Monroe (Longlegs) in the feature film adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s Reminders of Him, Deadline reports.

It centers on “motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart.”

Vanessa Caswill will direct the film from a screenplay by Hoover and Lauren Levine, based on the novel.

Hoover and Levine are also producing through their production company Heartbones Entertainment. Gina Matthews is producing through her Little Engine Productions. Robin Fisichella is executive producing. Director of Production Development Christine Sun will oversee the project for Universal.
