An ancient witch is awakened in horror film, The Weeping. Doug Jones (Hellboy, The Shape of Water) was today announced as having joined the cast.

Jones joins Reggie Lee, Chase DeMoor, Isabelle Hahn, Jordan Kennedy, and Craig Ng.

Written and directed by Spyder Dobrofsky (Down Below), the film follows “a group of friends who go camping in a protected Native American forest and unwittingly wake up an ancient witch that haunts all who trespass.”

The movie is produced by Giovanna Andolina under the Worlds Apart Banner.
