Fantastic Pavilion returns to Cannes with a Turkish remake of the Spanish film, The Coffee Table (La Mesita del Comedor).

The Turkish Coffee Table (Cam Sepha) is a remake of Caye Casas’ controversial film.

Directed by Can Evrenol, it is now told “through a distinctly Turkish lens,” and “explores the emotional erosion of a young couple after the arrival of a new child and the purchase of a deceptively innocuous piece of furniture. Evrenol’s adaptation delivers existential dread through domestic claustrophobia.”

Cam Sepha is the first project under the new Morbidogate banner, a joint venture between Globalgate and the Morbido Group.
