Yasmeen Fletcher (“Ms. Marvel”) and Troy Baker (The Last of Us) will star in the AI-themed sci-fi horror film Othermor.

It revolves around a young woman suffering from amnesia, trapped in a mysterious Victorian-style chamber with an enigmatic AI caretaker. As she negotiates for the return of her memories, she encounters a haunting doppelganger who may hold the key to her escape.

The film marks the feature debut of co-directors Justin Solaiman and Hudson King. Solaiman wrote the script.

The film marks the first development title of Twenty-Nine Palms Entertainment, which was launched last month by former Amazon MGM Studios exec Edoardo Bussi.

Solaiman and King will produce for The Distorting Mirror alongside Madison Stenner and Carys Glynne. Baker, Bussi, and Tyler Condon executive produce.
