Legendary’s upcoming Godzilla x Kong sequel has received an official title, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. A new announcement video has also revealed that the film is officially in production.

The cast includes Sam Neill (Jurassic Park franchise), Alycia Debnam-Carey (“Fear the Walking Dead”), Kaitlyn Dever (No One Will Save You), Jack O’Connell (Eden Lake), Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods), and Matthew Modine (“Stranger Things”). Dan Stevens will also be reprising his role as kaiju expert Trapper from last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

This next installment in the big screen universe will feature several new human characters alongside the iconic Titans as they face off against a cataclysmic world-ending threat.

Grant Sputore (I Am Mother) is directing, and Dave Callaham (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) wrote the screenplay.

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova will release in theaters on March 26, 2027, via Warner Bros.
