Kate Mara (“House of Cards,” “American Horror Story”) will star in the vampire romantic comedy She Kills Them.

Mara plays Chloe Jacobs, a woman in her late 30s living a dangerous double life. By night, she seduces and slays vampires as part of a secret government operation. By day, she’s just another jaded New Yorker trying to figure out her personal life. But when she meets Eric — someone she actually connects with — her two worlds collide.

Dan Clark (“How Not to Live Your Life”) will write and direct with Matthew E. Chausse (Beyond Skyline, Fast Charlie) producing.

London-based Tea Shop Films (Fall, 47 Meters Down) and Paris-based The Project are behind the film.
