A remake of Caye Casas’s The Coffee Table is in the works from Can Evrenol.

Titled, The Turkish Coffee Table (Cam Sepha), it will be told “through a distinctly Turkish lens.” Check out the newly unveiled poster for the film below.

It “explores the emotional erosion of a young couple after the arrival of a new child and the purchase of a deceptively innocuous piece of furniture. Evrenol’s adaptation delivers existential dread through domestic claustrophobia.”

Alper Kul stars in the new horror movie alongside Algi Eke, Hatice Aslan, Asli Bankoglu, Ece Su Uckan, and Elif Sevinç.
