Nicholas Galitzine (The Idea of You) announced that Masters of the Universe has wrapped production along with a photo of himself as He-Man on social media.

Travis Knight (Bumblebee) directed from a script by Chris Butler (ParaNorman) wrote the script, reworked from earlier drafts by David Callaham (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Aaron & Adam Nee (The Lost City).

Galitzine stars with Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, and Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress.

The cast also includes Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcom/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.

It will release June 5, 2026, via Amazon MGM Studios.
