Amazon MGM Studios’ reimagining of the 1987 film, House of Games will star Viola Davis (Fences, The Woman King) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen, Aquaman).
It follows psychiatrist Margaret Ford (Lindsay Crouse), who gets caught up in the world of gambling while trying to help one of her patients, Mike Mancuso (Joe Mantegna), deal with anxiety.
The film is the directorial debut of David Mamet, who also wrote the screenplay.
Davis and Abdul-Mateen also will produce through their respective production banners, Davis for Juvee Productions alongside Julius Tennon and Melanie Clark, and Abdul-Mateen II for House Eleven10.
