Kate Siegel (The Fall of the House of Usher, V/H/S/Beyond) has launched a brand-new production company, Legitimate Pictures and has set her feature directorial debut, Method.
The film will be the production company’s first project. It is written byCaitlin Parish & Erica Weiss (G20), from an original idea of Siegel’s. Plot details are under wraps.
According to Deadline, the company was formed with “her long-time manager Brittney McDade as a platform to create artistic and emotionally provoking female-forward content across multiple genres, for both film and television.”
“Our company is devoted to innovative narratives, imaginative worlds, and the investigation of what is considered “normal,” said Siegel. “We plan to question the traditional and champion the absurd in partnership with creatives who have been at the forefront of female storytelling.”
