Iyanu, the breakout animated superhero fantasy series inspired by West African mythology, returns to San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, July 27, presented by Lion Forge Entertainment. This year’s panel will feature an exclusive sneak peek at the franchise’s first film, “Iyanu: The Age of Wonders”, along with behind-the-scenes insights from the creative team.

Since its debut, Iyanu has reached impressive milestones. It became the #1 kids show on Cartoon Network (ages 2–12), ranked among the Top 10 Kids & Family series on HBO Max, and has reached over 525,000 viewers.

Internationally, the series premiered in 44 African countries via Showmax, where it became the #1 Kids & Family title within six days, and later expanded to ITVX in the UK.

Additional on-site activations will include a book signing with Roye Okupe at the Dark Horse Comics booth featuring the creators of the series, now streaming on HBOMax.
