DreadXP and Final Girl Games’ VILE: Exhumed has been delayed due to Steam having not approved the final build for release on the platform.
“Maybe we should’ve known after plenty of creators told us VILE: Exhumed was too intense to cover, that we might run into issues releasing the game,” reads the update from Final Girl Games. “We’ve been waiting for build approval for about a month now, and since we haven’t received any updates, we wanted to go ahead and pre-emptively let everyone know we’re going to have to ‘delay’ the launch. It would be ideal to have a date to give, and we’ve all got our fingers crossed that it’ll be soon, but until approval comes through it’s not something we have control over.
You’ll know as soon as we do, we’ll pick the first date we can after approval to get VILE launched.”
In VILE: Exhumed, you’ll wade through the decades-old computer that explores the mind of a deeply disturbed individual. Details around adult film actress Candy Corpse’s recent retirement is just one thing you might uncover as you sift through forums, hard drives, and emails to discover what secrets lie within. VILE: Exhumed deals with the heavy topics of trauma, sexual violence, entitlement, and violence against women. Player discretion is strongly advised.
