Max Minghella (Spiral: From the Book of Saw) is in talks to join the cast of DC’s Clayface.

Minghella would join previously announced Tom Rhys Harries (The Gentlemen) and Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice).

The story centers on an actor who injects himself with a substance to remain relevant, only to find out that he can reshape his face and form, becoming a walking piece of clay.

The DC film is written by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep), with James Watkins (Eden Lake, The Woman in Black, Speak No Evil) attached to direct.

Warner Bros. will release the film on September 11, 2026.
