This October, DreadXP, alongside The Media Indie Exchange, will once again be airing The Indie Horror Showcase, a collection of trailers for some of the best new horror and horror-adjacent games created by developers around the world. Now in its third year, the teams are aiming even higher to celebrate the most ghoulish and ghastly the games industry has to offer. Submissions for the showcase are open now and will close on September 19th.

The showcase has seen successful growth over the last two years, with last year’s show including over 70 trailers and announcements with an estimated live viewership of over 60,000, and highlighted the reveals of games like White KnuckleMonster DNA, and Please Insert Disc; the release dates for games such as Nightmare HouseOut of Hands, and Among Ashes; plus brand new trailers for The Thing: RemasteredBye Sweet Carole, and darkwebSTREAMER. By partnering with The MIX once again, DreadXP is working to maximize the positioning for all the titles that will be showcased this year and will be pursuing additional co-streaming opportunities to further boost visibility.

Highlights of the participating titles selected for the 2025 edition of the showcase will be announced closer to the show. Developers in the horror scene are encouraged to submit an application and join a growing community set on delivering the most chilling experiences to players everywhere. You can submit your game here. Any games or trailers that include Generative AI of any kind will not be eligible for the showcase.
