tinyBuild has announced that DUCKSIDE, the persistent-world survival-action shooter filled with hat-wearing, gun-wielding ducks, launches today on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5! DUCKSIDE’s console debut features full content parity with the Steam Early Access version of the game, as well as crossplay on consoles between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players.

In DUCKSIDE, you’ll take flight and battle feathered and featherless foes – solo or with a flock – in PvE and PvP mayhem across a vast, hostile, open world. Fly and explore with the ability to glide, hover and dive while shooting and fighting.

Scavenge valuable loot and materials to create a base, then protect it from other ducks in the archipelago looking to steal what’s yours from under your beak. Fortify your base, craft and upgrade a variety of weapons and explosives, complete missions for powerful rewards, and team up with friends to stay at the top of the pecking order!

The Standard Edition of DUCKSIDE is available today on PlayStation 5 in an early access phase and on Xbox Series X|S as part of the Game Preview program for $14.99 ($9.74 with a 35% off limited-time launch discount*). The Special Duck-Ops Edition of DUCKSIDE, available today for $17.99 ($11.69 with the 35% off launch discount*) includes the base game plus the “Supporter Pack” DLC, featuring a variety of exclusive in-game skins.

PlayStation owners will also receive a pack of three PlayStation 5 Avatars in the Standard Edition – and 15 PS5 Avatars in the Special Duck-Ops Edition. An Xbox Dynamic Background is available for free, as well.

Finally, Xbox players and PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab the “First Flight” DLC for free, featuring an assortment of in-game cosmetics.
