The previously announced The Conjuring television series is officially moving forward at HBO Max.

Nancy Won (“Supernatural,” “Jessica Jones”) will serve as the project’s showrunner, writer and executive producer, Variety reports. Peter Cameron (“Werewolf by Night”) and Cameron Squires (“WandaVision”) have also boarded the series as writers.

James Wan’s Atomic Monster Productions and Peter Safran’s The Safran Company will produce the franchise’s very first small screen project, in association with WBTV.

The series will “continue the story established in the feature films.”
