A24’s The Moment starring Charli xcx has added Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, and Kate Berlant. Charli xcx also dropped a teaser for the film on social media.

Written by Aiden Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, the film is based on an original idea by Charli xcx.

The film follows a rising pop star as she navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena-tour debut.

The film’s cast also includes Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Rish Shah, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl and A.G. Cook.

Charli xcx is also producing The Moment under her Studio365 label alongside David Hinojosa of 2 AM. Exec producers are Brandon Creed, Mikey Schwartz-Wright and Zach Nutman.

The film will be released in theaters next year.
