Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) and Isabela Merced (Alien: Romulus) star in the psychological horror film Psyche. The first look from the film has dropped today.

Matilda Lutz (Revenge) also stars along with Amelia Clarkson (“The Last Kingdom”) and Joel Jackson (Jungle).

Argentinian filmmaker Agustina San Martín (To Kill the Beast) directs from a script she co-wrote with Katy Cavanagh-Jupe, mother of Noah Jupe.

Set against the backdrop of the Greek islands, the story follows Mally (Jupe), a young American backpacker who becomes entangled with the dangerously seductive Camila (Merced) and Alex (Lutz) on a remote Greek island.

When the trio become embroiled in an illegal archaeological dig and unwittingly awaken Psyche, goddess of the soul, they unleash an ancient spirit bent on revenge.

Architect has boarded for international sales and will introduce first footage to buyers at the American Film Market. UTA Independent Film Group is handling North America.

The film’s creative team includes cinematographer Pablo Lozano (The Luckiest Man in America), composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer (“The White Lotus,” Smile), and Academy Award-nominated editor Tariq Anwar (American Beauty, The King’s Speech).

Psyche hails from Double Garage Films, the recently launched company from Noah, Katy, and Chris Jupe. The Jupes produce alongside Phin Glynn for Infinity Hill.

Merced executive produces with Alexandra Tynion, Olivia Tyson, Sophie Rose Barry, Josh Glick, Fernando Loureiro, Axel Kuschevatzky, and Cindy Teperman, Danielle Lauder, and Casey Hanley.
